A bumper week for me, with two stories going live online. The first is another success at the Brighton Community of Writers - my story, "A Night In with Zil" came joint third in their Short Story Competition. (Be advised, this piece contains strong language).
The second is a story that's made it into the spring 2011 issue of The Waterhouse Review. This piece is an older story that I've heavily re-worked a couple of times - I blogged about the process a while ago, here. The result is something I'm pleased with and I'm glad to see it find a home. I haven't had a chance to read the other stories, but the Winter issue was thoroughly stuffed with some first-class fiction, so I'm sure I'm in good company.
